description A sustainable ocean economy is achieved by improving economic, environmental, and social performance. Unfortunately, Indonesia’s marine and coastal ecosystems are threatened by overfishing, mangroves and coral reefs, and marine debris degradation. Thus, this research analyses the blue ocean business model in one of the coastal areas of Java, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. Through SWOT Analysis, this study found that the blue economy business model does not stop at the use of the sea for economic prosperity, but also includes how to manage marine products from upstream to downstream continuously, known as a circular economy.
