Description
Summary:In Lope de Vega’s posthumous the work La vega del Parnaso, published in 1637, two levels can be observed: on the one hand the main structure, homogenous, rigorous and coherent, such as can been seen in his lyrical production before 1635; on the other, an ensemble of additions that bring together his writings of his last days as well as eight plays. This procedure, probably due to José Ortiz de Villena, gives a notable degree of interest and variety to the volume, but it also entails a break as regards the original poetic structure.
