description This article studies the preserved poetic work of two authors who are part of the unfairly called minor songbook poets: Juan de Viana and Alonso de Lira. Only three works of each author have been saved from oblivion in the SA10a manuscript songbook; these are six songs with amatory content, which offer visions of women and love sentiment in a peculiar rhetorical garment. Their problems of textual fixation and interpretation are analyzed, as unique texts written by poets with a reduced corpus.
