Summary:Before anything, the cinema is a document. As all document, it can be manipulated, to serve as an instrument of manipulation, of social alienation. But before all this is a witness to history, it is a strength in the process of society awareness and a powerful instrument to the preservation of the material patrimony and the culture of the people. As a photography, the cinema is important to preserve the memory of a society. Public spaces filming, cultural events, and the people, are important documents to the reconstruction of the everyday and the cultural rescue.
