description | This study attempts to answer the following questions: does the language border exist? If it exists, does it generate cultural differences? To what extent does it influence French? As an identity factor for the inhabitants of the border, the language border still exists. In this sense, it remains in the same place where Sébillot established it in 1886 and where Panier retraced it in 1941 with a few kilometres of difference, at least in the area between Plouha and Plouagat. However, when one tries to determine exactly where Breton is spoken today and where Gallo is spoken, the task becomes much more difficult. |
