description In the forest ecosystems which differ by the growing conditions, the studies of the 137Cs distribution in the compo-nents of the forest biogeocenoses have been performed, the total inventories of the radionuclide in the ecosystems have been estimated and the role of each component in the distribution has been evaluated. On the basis of established quan-titative characteristics of the 137Cs distribution the conclusion was done about the key role of the trophity of the forest site involving the radionuclide into the biological circulation.
