Description
Summary:The general objective of this article was to study the growth in the number of Academic and Professional Masters in Administration in the Northeast Region in the last 15 years. Regarding the approach to the problem, the quantitative method was used, with an exploratory purpose. The technique used for data collection was documentary research. The information about all Academic and Professional Masters Degrees in Administration in the Northeast Region, available on the Sucupira Platform, was analyzed, above all, information concerning the offering institution, year of creation and concept. A very promising scenario was observed, as there was a significant evolution in the last 5 years (2015-2019), when 47.06% of the courses were implemented, during the studied period (2005-2019), which shows a recent growth in the number of programs in the region, suggesting a demand and interest in further studies in the area.
