Summary:The coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) has rapidly progressed across the nation since January 2020, with the United States having the highest number of cases in the world. On the background of the corona pandemic, it is the topmost priority to prepare a tertiary care hospital for planning a diagnostic screening, triaging, and management of patients and at the same time protecting healthcare workers and the environment. This article describes the infrastructures, hospital policy, and guidelines for giving quality and proper treatments to all needy patients. Aggressive screening at the corona screening desk and implementation of infection control measures are key elements for success.
