Abstract Penile self‐mutilation is an infrequent form of self‐harming behavior seen primarily in patients with schizophrenia spectrum disorders and rarely reported in those with major depressive disorders. We herewith present a major depression related case of penile self‐mutilation successfully managed by macroscopic penile reimplantation performed 8 h after the incident. |
