description This article examines Eurasian energy corridors with a focus on hydrocarbons and on Russian perspectives. The Chinese strategy of the "New Silk Roads of the 21st Century" aims to develop infrastructure networks, particularly on the Eurasian scale, but is it relevant to talk about Eurasian corridors in the energy sector ? China and Russia are neighbouring countries that are complementary from an energy point of view. Nonetheless, they were not connected by pipelines and their energy exchanges remained limited until the late 2000s. Moreover, in Central Asia, both countries appeared to be more competitors than partners. However, in recent years, energy projects have emerged, leading to the construction of transport infrastructure across Eastern Siberia and the Russian Far East. These infrastructures constitute incomplete corridors whose impacts in terms of regional integration and local development of peripheral territories are limited.
