description The study aims to compare the effect of technical and tactical training in technical skills of the players (running with the ball, dribbling, heading the ball and shooting with the ball). The study included a sample of 76 players aged between 6 and 10 years, from different clubs of the province of Salamanca. The results indicate that all players have improved running with the ball and dribbling; while hitting the ball with the head and hitting the ball with the non-dominant foot only improved in the participants of the technical training. For these reasons, the training of the player’s individual technique could be a combination of closed skills strategies with other games based on tactical application.
