Description
Summary:Infants with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) have an increased incidence of associated malformations. The malformations often include craniofacial abnormalities, skeletal defects, and cardiac defects. Ileal atresia is an anomaly that has not yet been described in association with CDH. We describe a patient with a left congenital diaphragmatic hernia who was later diagnosed with ileal atresia. It is our belief that this is the first report of its kind in the literature.
