Summary:The work is devoted to the heat exchange of a nuclear reactor. Attention was paid to the mathematical modeling of the temperature field of a heat-generating element of circular cross-section and surrounding it with a thin gas layer. It is assumed that the thermal contact between the solid–interlayer system is ideal. Differentiation and integration methods were used for numerical modeling.
