description This work aims to analyze the use of different mortar mixers and different mixing times, evaluating the influence that the preparation phase has on the multipurpose mortar’s properties in the fresh and hardened states. The tests performed in the fresh state were: consistency index, mass density and air entrainment. In the hardened state, capillarity, tensile strength, compression strength and SEM were evaluated. The results show that the variation in time and types of mixers influence the properties of industrial mortars, both in the fresh and hardened state.
