The aim of the present study is to reflect about this question as well as a about the results of a research focused on a clinical analysis of the top manager´s "self-presentation", considered one of the main aspects of the top manager´s work. After an introduction that presents the implications of a research carried out on 15 top managers in France, the approach adopted and a summary of the key results, the discussion will bring to light the theoretical and methodological changes necessary to investigate the field of top management, a field that until now has been frequently under cultivated by the field of work sciences. |
