Summary:The purpose of the current study is to find out the metaphoric perceptions of teachers of vocational education on modular teaching program. The study is a qualitative descriptive study. The study group was 90 vocational course teachers. The data collection tool used in the study was a questionnaire form prepared by the researchers. At the end of the study, a total number of 75 metaphors were developed regarding the modular teaching program. The most often used metaphor was “guide” and was followed by puzzle, lantern, life, guidebook, wheel, car and compass.
