| Summary: | The transformation of the Slovak Academy of Sciences organisations into public research institutions in 2022 has prepared suitable basic conditions for various ways of commercialisation of research and development results in technology transfer, including the establishment of spinoff companies. The complexity of this process, whether from an economic or a legal perspective, encourages all public research institutions of the Slovak Academy of Sciences to follow the same basic rules and principles in a uniform manner, which is what the internal regulations are designed to do. In this paper, the author briefly defines some starting points in this respect to try to outline good practice in setting up spinoff companies in the SAV environment. |
