Summary:Burnout is an "epidemic" that has hit the world of work. Burnout is a term that describes the emotional condition of a person who feels tired and bored mentally, emotionally and physically as a result of increasing work demands. Personality characteristics are one of the causes of Burnout. In this research, the personality characteristics used are the Big Five Personality Factors. The aim of this research is to find out the differences in Burnout in terms of the Big Five Personality Factors among Malang Central Post Office employees. This research uses non-test methods, namely the Burnout scale (Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey) and the Big Five Factors Personality scale (Big Five Inventory). Measurements were carried out on 100 subjects at the Malang Central Post Office employees. The data analysis used in this research is one way ANOVA statistical analysis. The results of the research show that there is a significant difference in Burnout (F=2.929; Sig=0.025<0.05) in terms of the Big Five Personality Factors in Malang Central Post Office employees with the neuroticism personality factor having the highest mean Burnout (32.36) and agreeableness which has the lowest mean Burnout (26.07).
