description The purpose of present study was to identify under which condition trust is built in educational organizations with an emphasis on Islamic guidelines. To analyze data of this qualitative study, it was utilized content analysis and open Encoding methods. The statistical population included the verses of Quran and Hadith about trust. It was used consecutive purposeful sampling technique and the sample size was obtained through the saturation. The results showed that building trust in educational organizations, on one hand it should be avoided making some cognitive errors such as over-trusting, lack of understanding of the situation, and paying little attention to the individual characteristics of trusted persons. On the other hand, it should be considered the levels of trust, recognition of position of trust, and the characteristics and competencies of trustworthy people such as following qualities: honesty, justice, positive history, appropriate qualifications, wisdom, being direct, transparency, loyalty and good-will in order to avoid the imagined or false trust and achieve a real or genuine one.
