Spontaneous Fungal Peritonitis

This report presents a case of spontaneous fungal peritonitis (SFP) in a patient with cardiogenic ascites. Physicians need to be aware of this life-threatening condition because early suspicion of SFP can improve survival. (Level of Difficulty: Intermediate.)
