Here we report an elderly woman with long-term glucocorticoid use who was infected with Fusarium proliferatum on the right dorsum of the hand presenting with a verrucous plaque and Prototheca wickerhamii on the left dorsum of the hand presenting with geographic ulcers with erythematous plaques. The diagnosis was made through histopathological examination of skin samples and fungal culture, with identification through molecular examination. She was successfully treated with voriconazole. |
