Description
Summary:Objective To investigate the effects of CTGF on proliferation and migration of SKOV3 and the underlying mechanism. Methods SKOV3 cells were treated with recombinant human CTGF (rhCTGF).The proliferation of SKOV3 was detected by CCK-8 assay and colony formation assay. The migration of SKOV3 was detected by wound healing assay. The expression of EMT-related proteins was detected by Western blot. Results After rhCTGF treatment, the proliferation rate of SKOV3 was increased, the colony formation and migzation were enhanced (P<0.05).The expression of E-cadherin was decreased and the expression of vimentin was increased, which were related proteins of EMT(P<0.05). Conclusions CTGF can promote proliferation, growth and metastasis of SKOV3, and that may contribute to the regulation of epithelium-mesenchymal transformation (EMT).
