Summary:In recent decade work engagement has gained interest of organizational behavior and human resources researchers. Work engagement as a positive construct has a determining role in explaining and predicting organizational outcomes. In this research data collected from 358 expert of an industrial corporation (including seven companies) in order to investigate the impact of work engagement on organizational commitment. Results showed work engagement has a positive impact on organizational commitment and predicts its variances. Impact of work engagement on affective and normative commitment was positive and meaningful. Work engagement did not have significant and meaningful relationship with and impact on continuance commitment.
