| Summary: | In this paper the author studies the dynamic of meandering channels of the river Ebro (section Rincón de Soto-Castejón). Afier working with aerial photography from 1927 to 1986 the most dynamic points have been chosen and their evolution has been analysed by a detailed cartography of the channel and the jloodplain. We have observed a progressive deforestation of the gro ves and a parallel occupation of the riverside by human action, which is revealed by the increase of cultivated areas and the development of dam works. |
