Description
Summary:This article presents the effects of what the author calls « technomethodologies », that is the structuring environment imposed to workers of an organization by the technologies, especially since the generalization of micro-informatics. These « technomethodologies » create a framework within an organization (Elias, 1981) which is related to the culture, history and strategy of the organization. They are the result of collective practices of adhesion, resistance or avoiding the imposed structure. These « technomethodologies » are the result of a historical process, are not neutral since they are the product of the interaction between managerial choices and the logic of actors of an organization. The article presents a case study of a service in the west of France and leads to highlight two models of agents confronted with organizational change : the « alpinists » and the « parachutists ».
