Summary: | Peru, as a small and open economy, is prone to external shocks that cause fluctuations in its GDP, and given the high degree of dependence on raw materials, this could be amplified. In relation to this, the present work aims to quantify, through an autoregressive vector model with the incorporation of exogenous variables, how vulnerable the Peruvian economy is to external shocks and how an exacerbation of current trade frictions would affect economic growth.
