Telehealth and diabetic foot According to WHO, telehealth involves health services delivery using TICs when accessibility is not possible due to distance. It covers teleconsulting, tele-education, and teleresearch in a scheme of telemanagement. It is a worldwide health system innovation that came to stay, based on the concept of integrated health care networks, providing equality and health access. There are many different cutaneous manifestations of diabetes, ranging between 30 to 70 %. If metabolic effects on microcirculation, dermal collagen changes and neuropathy-related changes are to be considered, these figures would increase by 100 %.
