Description
Summary:Objetive. Questioning whether government archiving is really being an instrument in the fight against corruption, or is it just part of a discourse that continues to perpetuate a corrupt system. Method. Documentary analysis of archival processes and archival laws in Mexico applied to the spectrum of corruption. Results. The archival control instruments (ICA): if they are aligned with the functions, attributions and procedures that are carried out, if they are updated or if they do not exist. Conclusions. The way in which corruption is characterized in Mexico limits the identification and problematization of other aspects that are affected by it and that may be relevant to combat it, as is the case of Archival, which, being an undervalued area and distant from society, it is susceptible to being manipulated or applied incorrectly or tendentiously without this being evident, precisely because of the lack of knowledge that the population has regarding it.
