Summary:Air traffic and transport is the safest mode of transport. Despite this, a significant number of aviation accidents and incidents occur annually in the world. Safety management and risk management have always been extremely important factors in civil aviation. Safety improvement is possible through constant and systematic work on the detection and control of hazards, as well as the detection of the causes of accidents and incidents and activities to eliminate or mitigate the consequences of accidents and accidents. This paper aims to present the application of the K-means method in determining the causes of accidents and incidents and is based on data published by the BHDCA (Directorate for Civil Aviation of Bosnia and Herzegovina).
