Description
Summary:
The Faro Convention (2005) established that “heritage community” consists of people who value specific aspects of cultural heritage which they wish, within the framework of public action, to sustain and transmit to future generations. In all regions there are hundreds of voices waiting to make themselves heard, that have a high potential in terms of teaching, identification of values, community building. The "Narrating@ Fiesole" project intends to start walking on a path that connects landscape and cultural heritage, understood as a living heritage and storytelling. The main objective is to give voice to this "heritage community", creating a participatory archive on- line, an innovative tool of knowledge, memory, education and development of the territory and of its landscapes.
