| description | Medina Charter is a constitution based on the consensus between the people of Mecca and Medina, functioning as a reference for their nation life for the benefit of their plurality. This constitution was also an effort to create social integration in Arab society following the emigration of the Prophet. Different backgrounds in ethnic and religion, as well as socio-economic jealousy, are part of the trigger of horizontal conflict. Medina Charter was formed as a means to anticipate the emergence of differences of interest that triggers social conflicts, either latent or overt.
Piagam Madinah, merupakan sebuah konstitusi yang terbentuk atas konsensus bersama masyarakat Makkah dan Madinah. Sebagai rujukan dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara untuk kepentingan umat yang majemuk tersebut. Konstitusi ini juga menjadi upaya menciptakan integrasi sosial di kalangan masyarakat Arab pasca hijrah Nabi. Perbedaan latar belakang kesukuan dan agama, serta adanya kecemburuan sosial ekonomi, adalah bagian dari pemicu munculnya konflik horisontal. Piagam Madinah terbentuk, sebagai salah satu upaya mengantisipasi munculnya perbedaan kepentingan yang memicu konflik sosial dalam bentuk terpendam maupun terbuka. |
