The consumption of fruit is associated with reduced risk of diseases related to high levels of oxidative stress. Antioxidants reduce this stress by minimizing the incidence of diseases, contributing to the health. Soursop is a natural source of antioxidants. Therefore, this study evaluated the levels of total phenols and tannins in soursop taking into account the antioxidant activity.
