| Summary: | In this study, we looked after 10 patients to observe the irradiation effects in low-intensity electromagnetic fi eld produced by the millimeter waves upon the cells of adulterated palmar aponeurosis. According to the biophysical and biochemical data, these types of millimeter waves somehow change the cell membrane polarity by infl uencing the ions active membrane transport, generating a cellular activity modifi cation. The aim was to elaborate a method of alternative effi cient treatment to stop the anarchical synthesis of immature collagen (Type III) in the precocious stages of the Dupuytren’s disease.
