Summary:The present paper presents the creation of a mathematical model for predicting the values of the mechanical properties of hot -rolled strips. The paper presents the way of developing the mathematical model, based on a statistical development method, namely, the active experiment method. The equations of the developed mathematical model successfully allow the prediction of the values of the studied mechanical properties, thus saving material, time and money.
