Cryptosporidium parvum in Oysters from Commercial Harvesting Sites in the Chesapeake Bay
Oocysts of Cryptosporidium parvum, a zoonotic waterborne pathogen, can be removed by bivalve molluscs from contaminated water and retained on gills and in hemolymph.
