Description
Summary:In an experienced system (2.45 Ghz,90W) havebeen monitored the internal temperature distributions ofhumid pharmaceutical powder samples, dried inmicrowave field and combined microwave-hot air. It hasbeen found that temperature variation depends onmaterial, dielectric physical and thermal properties ofsolvent and powder. The diagrams have been alsodependent on the layer sizes (area and thickness), a risingof area size and a decrease of thickness causing lowedtemperature of the product. The surface temperatureremains lower than central temperature during all theprocessing period, differential on sample thickness risingwith the humidity content reducing.
