| description | This work is subject to agricultural policy infrastructure, which shows
increasingly essential to provide better conditions for productivity and
quality of life of rural residents, as well as leveraging the rural development
process, especially in the "farm gate inside". So, the objective of
this study is to understand how the Agricultural Patrol, public policy to
support infrastructure, contributes to the strengthening of family farms and
the development of São Lourenço do Sul/RS. The methodology used was a
qualitative research, using techniques such as analysis of secondary data /
documents to understand the organization of municipal public policy;
semi-structured interviews with local managers and farmers. The first results
showed that the Agricultural Patrol contributes to the strengthening of rural
properties, having great importance to enhance the infrastructure of the
"farm gate inside" which helped in the modernization the properties
and increased productivity. In the end, we concluded that the demand for the
services is higher than the availability of machinery for the execution and
that is required to look for alternative in a joint manner (public power and
farmers) to improve the Agricultural Patrol. |
