Although we are promoters of positive language, we propose that, by means of this article, to point out some aspects regarding the risks of using without discrimination of this type of communication having unrealistic expectations. Our study is based on published results of research in this regard, then focusing on domestic issues that can define the context in which positive language has its undesirable consequences. For example, although the praise encourages and criticism demoralizes, not all praises fulfill the same role as between praise and criticism, there are many possible attitudes.
