Summary:Objective of the study: analysis of the data presented in the modern literature on the relationships between chronic endometritis (CE) and miscarriage. Material and methods: the review includes data from foreign and domestic studies published in the electronic databases Medline, Pubmed over the past 15 years. Results: this review analysed the data on the diagnosis of CE, and pathophysiological processes leading to habitual miscarriage. It also showed the role of the microbial factor, the level of cytokines, leptins, expression of metalloproteinases, immune factor, dysbiotic disturbances of vaginal microflora.
