description The present paper discusses the status of translation in Occupied Palestine. The paper first provides a theoretical framework to set and expand the scene of the translation movement in Occupied Palestine. Methodologically, a questionnaire has been properly designed to carefully examine the status of translation, and then it is shared on social media platforms, namely Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The answers (30 in total) are received via Google Forms. The findings of the study reveal that no standards for translation is adopted. The study further shows that it is not an easy task to initiate working in Palestine. The study also points out how paramount it is to set legal rights and obligations of a Palestinian Translator/ Interpreter and to establish an association unifies the Palestinian translators.
