| Summary: | Power banks are used to charge portable electronic devices, including smartphones and tablets. However, customers' expectations are often not realized in terms of the actual delivered capacity of the power bank; it is often far less than the value specified on the product. This paper discusses the specifications of power banks and assesses two power banks in terms of advertised and actual capacity. Recommendations on how to correctly specify (advertise) capacities are then provided. |
