Description
Summary:MiraMap is a social innovation project of the DAD Department of Turin Polytechnic, which works on a digital collaborative platform to favour communication, participation and interaction between citizens and administration. MiraMap combines online and offline activities and consists in a geo-referenced interactive map, used by the public to report problems and make suggestions with regard to public space, and in a back-office system available to technical-administrative staff to manage the information supplied by users. This strengthens the role of active participation by the public and of governance of the area by the PA (public administration), which becomes a subject capable of managing different types of contribution with a view to co-design and co-production of services.
