Gentiana aperta (Gentianaceae) - a new record to India from Ladakh Himalaya

Gentiana aperta belonging to the section Chondrophyllae under the genus Gentiana (Gentianaceae) forms a new record to India from the Ladakh Himalaya. A detailed morphological account, photo plate and other relevant information are provided to facilitate easy identification.
