Summary:The author analyzes the poem of D. Andreev "Leningrad apocalypse" which occupies a central place in the philosophical system of the writer. The poem is considered in different contexts: in connection with the philosophical ideas and general esthetic of D. Andreev like the classic "Petersburg text" and as one of the pieces of literature 1940-1950's. The author shows how the poet develops the concept of religious war, it is proved that D. Andreev reinterprets the leading motifs and concepts (heroism and achievement, victory) of literature in this period is, the author's understanding of the idea of the national is interpreted, he identifies the critical content layers of the poem.
