| Summary: | This paper aims to analysis the risk of using statistical and administrative data for non-statistical purposes in the official statistics systems of Mercosur Member States. The main analysis is based on a legal corpus of statistical laws of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela. The research concludes that the risk exists because the security statistics bureaus are part of all the statistical systems examined. |
