Summary: | Cyclometallated compounds, specifically cyclopalladates, have been synthesized for years. In this work, we describe a new family of compounds in which an iron core has been introduced in addition to Pd. This novel characteristic provides interesting properties to these compounds, such as the possibility of undergoing reduction–oxidation processes due to the versatility of the iron nucleus. An XRD study of the resulting crystalline structure allows explaining the compound behavior. |
