| Summary: | The present article is dedicated to identification of opportunities for stating and solving research problems related to evaluation of social and - economic development safety and efficient use of the regional economic potential. The analytical base is the statistical information for the North - West Federal District (NWFD) of Russian Federation. The authors offer the system of indicators of development safety and effective use of the economic potential. Each of them can be calculated individually for the territory. In practical terms, these indicators can be used by the executive authorities and regional administration to monitor changes. |
