Description
Summary:This essay seeks to establish a dialogue on the term development and its implications from the perspective of the territorial/rural approach. It also aims to outline a brief panel on social capital, social networks, and partnerships as alternatives to the permanence of rural communities in their territories. The text takes into account the socioeconomic and cultural aspects present in the studies and authors addressed, as well as the process under the aegis of capital, which produces and consumes spaces and cultures that evidence individuals of communities in an invisible rural. Especially nowadays, when technique and mechanization are placed as the assets to be achieved by agricultural activities, it would be imperative to establish itself for family farmers - many not holders of socioeconomic power to engage in this process, alternatives focused at their (re) existence for the land and for their work.
