description We report a case of chronic osteomyelitis caused by Burkholderia cepacia presenting with multiple bone localizations in an infant affected by end-stage renal disease. In order to avoid the amputation of the extremities, a salvage procedure was attempted: all lesions were curetted completely and filled in with bone cement. At 24 months follow-up all lesions are completely healed.
