Summary:This article consists of the discussion of analytical categories such as inclusion, interculturality, universality, universality and coloniality, all in relation to Argentine universities and institutional and state policies aimed at favoring access and retention, in general, and of indigenous students. , in particular. To do this, it starts with the work carried out within the framework of the author's doctoral thesis and the theoretical problematizations that were developed in it. This work consists, then, in an attempt to articulate the contributions of the critical theories to the MCMC, specifically the decolonial option, with emerging from the field work carried out for the thesis and from research that addressed similar cases.
